Nice design, Clean, Comfortable, It is near the Metro Station (Garibaldi). We bought some foods from a supermarket that inside the Metro Station and go back to cook. Great
I stayed 2 nights and no room cleaning service. Some kitchenwares are dirty
I liked location and facilities. Staff was friendly. Everything was ok!!! Metro station is very close by Isola Apartments. There is wi-fi in apartment. Grazie mille per tutto!!!)))
I liked the location, being very near Garibaldi Station (because we left on tgv to Paris from there @ 6 am) & Metro + the Corso Como, & the fact it is an apt, not a hotel...comfy bed & nice terrace that is upstairs...did not have time to use kitchen.
Other than no toilet paper & could not get the tv to work -- which we made do -- the only downside is that I had to schedule check-in since no one is there, which was not explained when I booked it; it worked out, but the vagaries of travel could have caused an issue; it caused me to be less flexible than I had wished when coming down from Lake Como.
50 mt away from Garibaldi station and supermercato, Kitchen was useful. Easy connection to Como region.
Wi-fi was not available in our room.
Room is very big with bedroom on the second level. They also provide kitchen with all the amenities such as coffee maker (nespresso), wired internet in the room.
Location is quite difficult to find. And the distance is a big matter for us. They said it's only 50 mtrs from the station, but actually there is no short cut to go there and that's why We need to take taxi from garibaldi station to find this hotel. There is only stair to go to the room on second floor.
the apartment is clean and comfortable.
No front desk, when you need help, you have to call the owner if he is here.
It was very comfortable. Although very easy to get to (just behind Garibaldi Station), it is in a very quiet residential area. This means you're away from the main tourist areas, and so can get some sense of what it is like to live in Milan - but even so it is very easy to get to all the sites a tourist might want to see. After tiring days out, it was pleasant to come back to 'our own' place, sit on the terrace, and have a drink. We were able to make out own breakfast and eat it on the sunny terrace. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen area. We were visiting family, recently moved to Milan, who have only a small flat - we all agreed the Isola Apartments would be ideal for all their visitors.
The deluxe apartments are on two floors, with a bedroom on the top floor, and a sofa bed in the kitchen/sitting room. While the owners have made sure that the bedroom is well curtained, with blinds and thick curtains, there are only thin curtains in the kitchen/sitting room, so I was awoken at 5.30 by the light (this was in June), even though I had a sleeping mask. This is why it only gets a 'good' for comfort
The hotel was close to Train and Metro station.
Even though the hotel was really close to the metro station it was still hard to find and the neighborhood didn't seem very nice. The standard apartment that we booked didn't look at all like the pictures in the website. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the kitchen appliances weren't clean and the room was infested with ants.
Great location, quiet neighbourhood
Not a lot of privacy given the flat's set up
The kitchen space was bigger than other apartment hotels and was easier for us to cook together in the kitchen. The owner lended us a scale to weigh the suite cases before going on a flight. The building strongly-build and felt safe. Loved the colors and the picture in the hall ways. Location was good.
The room and equipments were not so clean. I had to wash every silverwares, dishes and pots before using them, I had to wash the bath tub before going in and I had to wipe the bed side tables. Outer rim of the shower cord was teared which scratched my naked body sometimes. There were only two rolls of toilet paper for 5 days. It said on the info they provided that the cleaning will be performed every 3 days but it wasn't. The apartment just didn't have the cleanness to it. The curtain was really thin in the kitchen so at night it felt like people can look though our window (especially when there was a guy out side on his little balcony at night right in front of our window, that freaked me out!!).
Close to P. Garibaldi train station and metro ,There's kitchenet and utensils and nice staff
It is near the Garbaldi railway station.
The check in from 14 to 16 is not useful, they should give it from 11 to 20. I did not like the total ikea look of the room...
The location is just 100m from Garibaldi Station so easy access to everywhere by Train or Underground (but make sure you you buy tickets to Garibaldi station when arriving to Milan - not Central Station). Few coffee shops around and supermarket with shops in the train station ...
There is no lift so we had to carry baby stroller to first floor (not a big issue but not suitable for disabled people) and would appreciate microwave oven for sterilizing our baby stuff...
A very nice district and surroundings. Many trees and nearby good budget restaurants especially a pizzeria Notre Dame.
I did not like very dirty floors and a furniture, all not cleaned surfaces, including a bathroom, which was not acceptable for a baby. It seemed there had not been washed for ages. Living is not comfortable at all for small children. Many steps and no lift in the house. A dangerous ladder in the room between the small and not cosy kitchen and a bedroom. Roll curtains in the roof under the bed were opened for many times by themselves during the night and in the morning with a big noise. A poor kitchen with a weak lightening. Very expensive for such an old, dirty, small and not homelike apartment.
Very spacious, well equipped kitchen, very nice terrace.
Cleanliness could be a bit improved (especially the floor). A sun umbrella on the terrace would be appreciated.
